Npan? number

I have to write to NEDL with my supply number which on the phone sounded like an 'Npan' number but to write it down I'm not sure if it's that or 'Enpan' or even 'Mpan' or 'Empan'.
Does anyone know?

Your mpan is also known as your electricity supply number.

You can find it on any old bills (if you have any)

It's the bottom line of numbers in that rectangle with all the numbers in it.

If you don't have a copy of your bill you can contact the Meter Point Administration Service to obtain your MPAN. Ask your supplier for the number for your area. If you were considering changing supplier, your MPAN is what you would need. There is an equivalent service for gas to (Meter Point Reference Numbers) and again your supplier will have a number for the appropriate organisation for your area.
