Could someone give me advice concerning an ideal Isar combi boiler? 4 years old
My problem started when I noticed that the lights from the combi where not working but the boiler was still actually working only when I switched it off and then on again did the boiler not work, Closer inspection revealed that water was leaking from the water pipe at the bit the piping connects to the boiler.
Few questions:
What caused the water leak?
If there was an initial inspection say three months before my problem, would this leak have been averted?
Would a drop in pressure cause the leak?
I have had an engineer look at it and it’s going to be a hefty price to fix it £490.00
