cd recovery ?

help , Ive accidentally written over a disc (cd recordable) which contained a lot of precious photo's
When i put in a disc to write on , i have put it into the dvd drive rather than cd drive - where there was already the photo disc :mad:

my question is , is there any way to recover my photo's or are they lost forever ?

is there any software i could buy or find to do this ?

im assuming the disc was a cdrw disc?

If it's a CD Recordable (CD-R) you can recover the files using something like ISOBuster.
