Hi , This is my first post so if i make any mistakes i am sorry. Me and a mate are going to europe for a month traveling via train. But i was wondering what type of charges i would occur when using my credit card across europe ? any help would be great

    But in a nutshell - get a Nationwide credit card and avoid all overseas charges and exchange-rate loading.

    I travel frequently in Holland by train, and they do not accept credit cards. As far as debit cards are concerned they only accept Maestro.
    Not sure about other European countries.
