Yeah, bit of a downer that was!So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable Christopher Reeve (1953-2004)0 -
Thanks Mazio. Spent part of today cleaning my kitchen floor so I could have done with this! Ordered one.0

Is this better than the Flash Powermop?

"Mine" turned up today, will have to get the other half to give it a spin some time ;-).
Cheers to the original OP.0 -
Anyone actually used one yet to report performance?
I've had a look at one and was unimpressed with the thin strip of foam and an even thinner strip of red brushes on the on the bottom - I reckon both will wear out pretty quickly.
I'm not sure how important this is to the cleaning process though.0 -

Not sure how long it will last but cleaned my floors very well and dried them too (Laminate, Vynl, Tiled) When you first use it it does seem to be a bit flimsy but it does do a very good job in my opinion (although we have never used anything other then a mop in our house so cannot compare to other makes). Web price now gone up to £29.99 + P&P.Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves0 -
Mine got delivered this morning & I tried it out on the kitchen floor.
It washes and dries fairly well, although you have to work at it a bit to get it completely dry without streaks.
What I've found though is that after a while, dirty foamy suds start to come out of the bodywork seams either side above the jug - which then dribble down the bodywork and leave spots of dirty water on your otherwise clean floor!
Is this a fault? Did I put too much cleaning fluid in? (I put a capful of the supplied VAX cleaner in then filled it with cold water to the line marked max level).
By the way, it's not *that* light. Beware if you have a bad back.

I received mine also today. Mine seems to be a refurb
The main handle and shaft look used with a couple of marks too. Also the cable came bundled in a plastic bag but not tied neatly. The rest looks brand new so I think it's a refurbished model. Maybe that's why they were so cheap. No mention of that in the item description that I can recall. It's gone now so can't check. Anyone else's look a little used in parts?
Haven't tried it yet.0
