Bush Tv Whistle at switch on

Hi, just bought a Bush 24 in widescreen for the bedroom and when first switched on it emits a piercing whistle for the first couple of minutes then is fine,it's not coming from the speakers, does anyone else have this problem, can't get hold of the support line at weekends so not sure how bad this is, it works fine even whilst it makes the noise don't really want to have to cart it back only to find they all do it? A friend got through 3 Daewoo tv's a while back which all had a green tint for the first few seconds only to be told it was normal, has had the tv for 4 years now and it's still the same so I suppose they were right.
