  • Which doesn't say anywhere that if they've not got round to inspecting you, that you're not covered. On the contrary, the only exclusion is the inital 14 days.

    I also have a booklet from them that states
    After completing our initial inspection you will receive complete breakdown cover for your central heating system until the agreement renewal date, subject to the completion of any remedial repairs that might be identified"

    I will have to find out what they mean by "Remedial"

  • Another point when the Engineer came up for a second time they did inspect my boiler and said that once the problem was fixed i would be covered
    Meaning that my boiler was in good enough state to be covered
    (my boiler not the best of ones is only 4 years old)

    Actually, I would bring this further. Every company now do state that they will send someone within 28 days. But what if they don't? Who fault is this? They are happy to continue taking money, but does the customer actually have to chase this although they have taking the money?

    Planet I believe you have some weight in putting a full complaint and making they fix this fully!
