Drilling through new plaster.

I have just had the area around the bay window plastered, how long would you recommend I wait until I drill through it and put up a curtain rail?

Give it a couple of days for the plaster to dry(or when it goes a pinky colour). Then drill the hole.

do you mean skimmed? or plastered. The Skimmed walls will dry much faster than plastered.
