Thanks Cornerstone13 - just things get you down you know? I am actually an extremely happy person, he is the moody one so feels horrible feeling down.........ahhhhhh men and money eh!!

If he is being distant and you are suggesting moving out - TAKE EVERYTHING YOU OWN WITH YOU!!!!!
Let him miss you, and everything you brought to the relationship!
Otherwise you could lose everything - even if you have to store it in your parents garage!
You are paying too much towards HIS mortgage - and paying for food he is wasting and furniture etc for HIS flat.
Look out for yourself right now.0 -
We have both said if I move out then we are not splitting up - think we just need some space and see where we go from there. If I could pay off my debt and live comfortably I will - it just makes me feel like I am giving up a bit if you know what I mean.

Move back in with Mum & Dad, sell YOUR stuff from the flat and blow him out!
Two birds, one stone.
Nuff said.
Good luck, girl.
I'm a Yorkshireman. I say it as I see it.
No offense is intended.:p0 -
Right guys - I am moving home! But Not splitting up......see how it goes, pay off my debt and start a fresh I think.

Please before you leave write up an inventory of the goods that you bought so that if and I really hope you dont split up - you have recourse to your goods or OH can pay you for your expenditure.

He has already offered to buy the goods from me so I could just do that noe although I don't want to so going to draw up a contract to state that they belong to me and I will get them back if we split up. He is pretty fair - probably made him out to be a lot worse in this post as girls do!

Luc - well done, It is so horrid suggesting something like that but in the eventuallity something does happen it means you are covred. Their is nothing worse than splitting up goods when you split up. Me exH took half the furniture from our house and took it straight to the tip to spite me!!!
I am sure he is not and it is also very difficult and I try not to judge someone from a single sided post. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Glad you have made your decision-you may find that once you are back at your parents, he realises how much you were contributing to the household, and learns a lesson from that. This has also been a learning experience for you, in how expensive it is to set up a home and live there, so when you have cleared your debts and are deciding what your next step will be, you will be in a much stronger position than you were this time round. I really wouldn't see it as 'giving up' on anything-it's not being weak, to put your hands up and say you are struggling, and need to get it fixed before it gets worse.
I would get an agreement about furniture sorted-I left my ex with everything when we broke up, as I couldn't bear the idea of seeing 'our' shared stuff around me, but I regretted it when I bought my own place and had to start completely from scratch,.0 -
As I understand it you are paying £200 a month "rent". If you move out you will pay £150 "rent" to your parents. The other bills don't change.
Won't your b/f accept £150 instead?0
