  • My son got his railcard last month but has, typically, lost all the blurb with it. We can't find out how to get the free YHA membership. There doesn't seem to be anything on the website. Can anyone help?
  • Hey dont worry! I just emailed them today about it because I wanted to claim my YHA membership (2 months late!) and they (railcard company) replied with the code, it is a generic code, everyone uses the same one, so no big deal!

Just to let people know, you do now have to quote your railcard number as well as any code.

I have just ordered a family railcard (genuinely) for £12 with a discount from the Daily Mail (posted on MSE elsewhere) and when I purchased online it said I could then claim my free YHA membership.

But when I phoned the YHA I was told I would have to wait until I have my railcard so I can quote the number (due to codes being posted on the internet...:cool: ).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Is this still available? I am going travelling in November and this would be a great help! If this isnt working can anyone suggest another way?
