No word on returned item

Options
Hi all,
has anyone had any dealings with a company called steelcube? (steelcube.com) I ordered a digital photo frame from them just before Christmas but they sent the wrong model so I returned the frame after Christmas. One of their employees gave me the return address by email and though I sent the frame back via insured delivery nearly 2 months ago I haven't heard anything. They don't respond by email and their phone is not answered so I have no idea what to do next?!!
Any suggestions as to the next move?

  • Firstly what method of postage did you send it back by if its Special Delivery you could claim back the total cost of the product if its being lost. If its Recorded or SD should have a tracking number. Try them a few more times know its frustrating but this company does not sound too good.

I sent it insured delivery which covers the cost of the item if lost/damaged but does not provide a tracking service as far as I can tell. If I can't get the company to confirm whether it received the item or not I don't know if I can reclaim any money from the post office?

write to them by recorded delivery and state clearly that within 14 days they are to provide you with e full refund of the item and the postage costs for the returned item or the correct item in question.

if neither file a small claims summons online

What form of Insured delivery if its Special Delivery or SD for short you will be able to claim the money back from the post office there should be a tracking number starting with GB. It would be the easiest way to get your money back if the company refuse to reply.
Or you can write to the company as Kill Bill states recorded delivery but firstly you must really ascertain if they have recieved the parcel then you can move forward from there.

It was sent as standard parcel and I paid a bit extra to cover the full value of the item if it was lost or damaged. There is no tracking option as far as I can see. I will go with Kill Bill's advice and send them a letter recorded delivery and see what happens then.
    Thanks for the replies eveyone.
