Cat Insurance - Help me sift through the options!

Hello, I am new to this section, so please be gentle with me.

Ok, I am trying to organise insurance for my two cats Arthur and Jimmy.

Arthur is 3 years old and Jimmy is 1 years old.

I am looking for a lifetime plan that wont increase year on year if the cats get ill.

I have tried the comparison websites, but to be honest, the different options are all too confusing.

Can anyone help?

Dave

You will only give individuals recommendations with that based upon their experiences.
Best thing is to make a list of what exactly you require and at what level - then base the quotes you get through comparison websites - then see if you can get cashback from anywhere. Are there any other things you require other that a lietime plan?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. The only thing I am really bothered about is a lifetime plan. My vet was telling me horror stories about animals that develop an illness that needs long term care and the cheap plans like Tesco effectively becoming redundant.

Both my cats are indoor cats so the likelihood of the being injured are slight. I have tried the comparison website but work out which plans are a lifetime plan or not.

You may find the answer to your question already posted in this thread.
If not, may i suggest you pm a boardguide for this board who could move your thread to the Pet Board, where it's likely to get a more relevent audience.

I only say this as this is where i've found useful info for my 2 kittens when it came to insurance. Thankfully i can't comment on whom we're with as we've never had to make a claim.

Thanks, not sure how to PM a board guide, but I will copy and paste my thread over there.
