Corsa Car Radio Phone

I've bought a Vauxhall Corsa P registered. When I switch the radio/cassette player on nothing happens... The unit switches on but the display on dashboard changes from showing the clock to a PHONE mode...How can I go back to the radio mode?</p>

Does it say PHONE or does it say SAFE? Cos it sounds like it needs the code, perhaps...? Never heard of a Vauxhall unit that age to do the phone thing...

Perhaps the phone is a mute mode? Try pressing all the buttons lol.

Phone shows when the unit has an aux input from a mobile phone kit. The stereo is either faulty because it thinks it's getting a phone input or there has been a mobile kit attached in the past and the wiring hasn't been removed properly.
