Aaarrrrgg okay everybody, if you are suggesting swapping on this forum....... I'm going to have to step in with my board guide hat on :o

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). Next weeks challenge has already been picked but we can do mens cards the week after if thats ok?

Good! It'll give me time to think about what to do! I hate making mens' cards, they're so difficult for me as I'm so girly when it comes to craft!

Psst...what's next weeks challenge? Just in case I have to go to the craft shop... I'm looking for an excuse to buy something new!:rotfl:

  • I think it's sooooo much easier making cards for females because you can get more girly colours than colours which appeal to men. I normally by pink stuff, but i am now forcing myself to buy some blue!!!

Me too, I even have a few sporty papers that my MIL gave me, they don't fit in with the purply pinkness of my stash at all!

Girls are easy because they tend to have so many different 'likes' to work with: flowers, bags, shoes, pets etc. I find men tough because it's sport (if they are actually into sport!) or cars (ditto!). I'm going to struggle this year with a couple of my men because I got their main hobbies last year (one was a rugby card which involved me tracing/drawing a big rugby ball and the other was a scout card complete with mini scout uniform for a scout leader! I think I've still got a photo of it... I'll have to have a look!) How do I top them this year?!
