melissa hope your little one isn't too poorly with chickenpox. I recommend bicarb of soda in the bath we used that when ds1 had it. Ds2 hasn't caught it yet despite being in contact (not with his brother though as ds1 had it before he was born). maybe he won't - I didn't! anyway hope he feels better soon.

Bunbun - he seems fine at the minute. He's laughing and fighting with his brother. I haven't had it - so fingers crossed I am immune! Just waiting for eldest son to show signs of it now.

Youngest ( the diseased one), fell asleep on me before, he still seems fine, I think its just the early stages at the minute. Can't get over how it looks - its like out of medieval times. Thanks to you all for asking about him, he's difficult at the best of times, so I can imagine he's going to be a nightmare when it really starts itching.
Saint_Chris - your comment made me laugh. I am exactly the same, I have got loads of unused stuff, but still I feel I have to buy more. Oh well, I don't spend money on clothes or shoes, just on paper and buttons - people think I'm crackers.

Kethry - Your cards are fantastic! Well done :)

BunBun - That looks fab! decoupage is something I have never tried ... don't think I could do it in all honesty!

Mellisa - Hope he gets better soon - My son was 5 when he had them ... he was fine only a few spots, nothing really itchy ... he then decided it was sweet of him to give them to his sister (she was 6 months at the time) and oh my god I swear I cried so much in pain for her, she slept in periods of 15 minutes before screaming, she couldn't lie down I had to put her in her swing and hope the movement would settle her as she screamed so much if I tried to hold her. She has them in the corner of her eyes and in other places that shoudn't be mentioned. and it all started with 1 spot in the corner of her eye ... 43 minutes later she was plastered :( I wouldn't wish it on anyone :(

Rusty - that sounds terrible. He is still happy enough today, he's got a few more spots, a massive one right on the end of his nose. We've kept the eldest off school as well, I can't see any spots on him, but I don't want him passing it on to the other kids in his class.

melissa - sorry to hear about the chickenpox..............my eldest was 5 when he had it, quickly shared it with his brother (4 years younger !) and at the time we lived in a little cul de sac and in a short while all the kids had it !
General opinion of us Mums at the time was that it was better they got it over and done so no sense trying to keep the kids apart.
They werent't really ill with it, just looked a bit of a fright to say the least !
