here is the promised picture, I layered the tissue paper and then added foam pads at the back so that the ovals are raised. Topper is sticker of a handbag and I added some gems. In the corner is a brad.

  • Mumoftwo, lovely card I agree with Mary the handbag is so cute.
Lickulmiss welcome to the thread. Don't worry about being artistic, my four year old is better at drawing than me. You're right decoupage is when the image is 3d. If you've got a pinter you're sorted - you can easily find a betty boop off the internet and print it off.
Rustyflange, love your card, the baubles look really pretty, how did you do them? Your conversation with your son made me giggle-it reminded me of my kids.
I can't remember who was asking about 12x12 papers, but I received my order today from atripdownmemorylane and I was really pleased with their service. My order arrived really quickly and she sent some free ribbons. Postage was 1.75 for an order under 10.00, and the papers I got were 50p each.

Hi Melissa, thankyou. The baubles are actually on the paper. It is one of the designs from the papermania naughty but nice christmas papers. I picked them up because I liked one of the sheets in there. Glad I got them. :)

Krystaltips - I think that if he spends x amount on going out then I shall spend x amount on craft stuff. He doesn't really complain. I see it as at least I have something to show for the money whereas all he has is a hangover!
I've already spent 15 pounds this morning. I stumbled across this site during one of my searches: http://www.bedazzleddesigns.com/?shop_empty=1 . They mainly sell embellishments and toppers but the prices are quite reasonable. I got 5 metres of ribbon for under 50p. Also picked up a few wooden embellishments that I have never used before. Postage is free for orders over 15quid, normally its 1.99. They also sell packs of 100 little red pom poms for 1.20 and some wiggly eyes for those making the flannel reindeers.

Thanks for this link - I used this site over the weekend and was really pleased - all my stuff arrived and its all fab ( and very well packaged). Thumbs up from me too!
