fab cards saveapenny, shellybee and krystaltips! all really different in style.
don't get down polly, i've had a hard week and not felt inspired. i'm sure you will be back to yourself in no time!! my creative block finally ended yesterday and i made 5 cards: http://stampingmadtoni.blogspot.com
here's one:
i've been looking through some of the blogs online and people's galleries on docrafts and feeling a little disheartened - that terrible envy feeling of 'mine will never be that good'. i'm trying to conclude now that practice makes perfect!!! lol.Disneyworld Florida in August 2011 :jLost so far: 0 lbs of 4stMother of beautiful son with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy0 -
Lovely card shellybee - is that DCWV paper at the bottom of your card? I really like your ribbons, the splash of pink colour is so striking against the black and white.
You've been busy krystaltips, well done! Paddington bear is soooo cute
Toniwoty, more stamping, you are so good at it! Don't compare your cards to others as handmade cards are all unique and you are your own worst critic when looking at your own work. Keep making them, your cards are great, trust me:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
i suddenly remembered i wanted to ask everybody a question - do you have something in your craft kit that you bought thinking you would use it occasionally but now cannot live without it??! so not your 'standard' kit. mine would have to be my corner rounding punch. xDisneyworld Florida in August 2011 :jLost so far: 0 lbs of 4stMother of beautiful son with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy0

Hi everyone, long time no post. Have been really busy with work and building a greenhouse & shed so haven't made many cards recently (well, any to be honest
) Hoping to get more active in the card-making department really soon, but still keeping up to date with the thread.
My 'Can't live without it' item is a bone folder. I didn't think I'd really need it but I bought it on a whim and it is used every time I make a card. I hadn't realised how useful it would be for scoring and making really sharp folds. I might have to get myself a corner rounding punch if they are such a useful item.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Ohhh, look at this http://www.artymiss.co.uk/acatalog/info_516434.html.
I'm not going to buy it as a) I don't think I'll make enough use of all the stuff and b) the OH will flip if I buy any more craft stuff in bulk without my existing stocks being dramatically decreased :rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thanks chickadee, I don't have a bone folder but may have to get one after your recommendation
One of my fave items is my corner rounder punch (snap toni!), I don't use uit all the time but I like having rounded cormers on cards for a change:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Mine is the corner scissors from Fiskar. I have the punch but could never get them even the scissors are excellent.
My other tools that I couldnt do with out are
eyelet setter because velum is such a pain to stick without the tape showing , my shape boss, score boards and my book of trix board which I use so many ways other than just the book cards.
Toni...I tink your cards a great I couldnt stamp like you to save my life I am even thinking of getting rid of all my stamps because I rarley use them anymore and the 2 draws could be used for other stuff
I am not too bad with wooden stamps its the clear ones and the CD stamps I cant get to grips withIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0
