melissa they are very easy to use. they come out just like normal pencils so in some places i haven't done anything after that but if i do want to wet it, it depends on the size area. sometimes i just wet my finger and smudge lightly - like on the girl's face, other times i use a small paintbrush - you don't need much water really. hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice toniwoty2009, I was tempted a while ago to buy a set of watercolour pencils from ebay, but I never bothered. Are they easy to use? Do you use a brush for the water or one of those water pens things? Am I right that you colour the section in with the pencil and then put water over the top of it? I love the perfect results that you got with yours on the girls card!
If anyone is interested in the waterfall sheets that I was going on about before this is one of the item numbers on ebay: 180235736517rtCurve.gifs.gif
I have bought from this seller before. She has about 8 different designs of waterfall sheets and each one comes with instructions. She has brilliant offers on combined postage.

Thanks melissa, these were just what I was looking for, die cut and with instructions! Have bought a few different ones. Great ebay shop and brilliant prices too :D

Hehe - yep. I did initially think the embellishments were rubbish, but when you use just one or two with other stuff from your own stash they can actually work really well :D

Toniwoty2009 - I might try and get some pencils now. There are some lovely stamps about, I like the penny black range. I'll have to dig some of my old stamps out now and have a look at what I have. I love the second lot of cards too, I've got loads of those die cut sentiments that you used on the dragon card, I find them really useful.
Rainmac, glad that the link was useful. I bought quite a few bits from the seller. I love the "buzzcraft" range of card making stuff. They are the manufacturers of the waterfall sheets, but they also do some great decoupage, which this seller has for quite cheap prices. I bought quite a bit and was really pleased with how cheap her postage was. I think it was about £1 - £1.50 for loads of sheets.
Lilian1977 - great cards. I love the dress one - I think using the curtain is really clever.
