I am making a wine hamper for my Dad's birthday. I have got a really nice basket which OH was given last Christmas with vine leaves on and have bought a wine cooler and some wine charms (both in the Boots sale!). I will buy a bottle of wine but that is where my ideas run out:D Does anyone have any other ideas of things I can put in. He already has bottle stoppers and a good corkscrew. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Drinkstuff.com have loads of ideas for drinks-related gifts, including a section dedicated to wine! Has he got these drop-stop pourers? They're a great little gadget for stopping you wasting half the bottle in drips as you pour!
I'm sure there is an "aerator" pourer as well that allows the wine to breathe as you pour, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.
How about a nice decanter, or wine glasses? Or a wine rack?MFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!0 -

Oh dear, no wonder you're running out of ideas, sounds like he's a bit of a wine connoisseur!
A few more thoughts:
Wine thermometer
Wine game
Wine bottle candle
Adopt a vine kit
You could put some nice nibbles in to go with the wine, things like olives, "posh" crackers, nuts, that sort of thing. And then that's me out of ideas too I'm afraid!!MFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!0 -

When does he drink the wine? eg - if he drinks it and snacks, you could put in crisps, nuts, chips and dips - that kind of thing.
I did a "chilling out kit" for my Mam today which was wine, chocolate and books, and she was thrilled with that. Here I go again on my own....0 -

You could add a foil cutter if he hasn't got one, a wine guide and some good dark chocolate. Or wine gums

I found my dad a t-shirt that had lots of wine stains down the front, I didn't buy it here, but it looked like this: http://www.earthsunmoon.com/products/item.php/939/1:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
