Assuming that the blank disc you used for the first set of pictures was a cd-r (?) then you won't be able to add anything else as the disc will have been closed during the burning process. You wouldn't be able to use that disc again.
If it was a cd-rw (rewriteable) disc and you selected "multi-session disc" during the burning of the first photos then it should be fine as long as there's enough space left on the disc, if you're presented with a pop-up option saying something like "there is already data on this disc - do you want to delete it?" click no, and your software will work out how much free space is left.
I think it depends on what burning software you used (I use Nero) as to what options you get when burning discs.0 -
In case you were worried about the new pictures replacing any already on the PC...
Depends on how your camera handles images - you normally have the option to reset numbering (start again from 001) or for continuous numbering (just carries on from where it left off) after you've deleted one set of shots or replaced the data card.
With continuous numbering, you can just load them into one big folder, any new ones won't (normally) overwrite existing ones. Sometimes falls apart if you store the camera for a long time without batteries, or if you have it repaired.
Your pictures will probably be named something like DSCF0001.JPG (Fuji), PICT0001.JPG (Minolta). I use the reset numbering, then store my pictures in dated folders, eg
|-Photos
|---20050730
|
PICT001.JPG
|
PICT002.JPG
|---20050618
|
PICT001.JPG
(etc)
You create a new folder before loading in from the camera (obviously into the new folder), this prevents you over-writing any existing pictures. To copy out to CD, just select a set of folders to copy. I use YYYYMMDD (eg 20050730 for 30/07/2005) - keeps them in order and makes it much easier to find/select pictures from specific events.0 -

I use CD R not CD RW and add my photos in stages until the disc is full. Agreed, you need to tick the option "Add to disc later, multi session disc" to do this but a CD R should be fine. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
