    Quick update for y'all

Well a month of penny pinching has gone by, and it has been surprisingly easy in some respects and quite hard in others.

Easy: Curbing my spending on myself, just not going out and drinking, making my own sandwiches, quitting smoking (although not that easy, but ive stuck to it)

Ive got it a bit easy though because my girlfriend has agreed to help me save when ever we go out for a meal or a drink she will foot the bill each time, and it makes quite a big difference.

Hard: Ive made a spreadsheet of all my daily spending and I never realised how much of my salary goes to things like birthdays, petrol, Travel. So these are unavoidable and impossible to reduce. Also I just came back from holiday which I booked before I decided to save and that really cost me dearly but I made a lot of the cost of that back by selling my life on ebay :)

All in all Ive done quite well and since saving from the end of Feb Ive just managed to put away £2000 into an ISA - Im very happy as its the most money Ive ever held onto.

    thanks for listening.

Well done for saving so much. My son still lives with us. He doesn't seem the least bit interested in saving so he can get his own place. I wish he would try to save like you. Keep it up! :T
