Hi everyone, only just joined but need some urgent advice please...
I wont bore you but I was made redundant last year and was out of work for 3 months in which time i wrote to the above and their agents St Andrews and filled in the claim forms to pay my card while I was out of work. Since then I have rec'd letters from MBNA every 2 days and had more than 50 phone calls and texts, does this amount to harrassment ? Also i was called a liar down the phone and told to sort everything out via the insurance firm, in the meantime I have asked they suspend the interest until this is sorted, heard nothing back and I have been paying well above the minimum to try to clear this.
MBNA keep threatening me and saying the calim should take a week, well that was 4 months ago and I have a letter from the ins firm stating a claim can take 6 months !
Have i grounds to take this further and demand anything ??
Thanks
Malc
