Bathgate buyer, excellent new on the Sainsbury's visa charges back.
Thanks! Only took 3 recorded delivery letters - now the balance of the card is down to £1600 while it was once at £6K  The biggest DF step I have taken is reclaiming these charges. If anyone still hasn't done this, please do it. With 3 letters, I've knocked 30% off the remaining balanc of the card.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Nothing mega today but will try my best:
~Use £1 off coupon to buy Observer
~Relist unsold items on eBay
~Review Amazon items to see if lowest price, revise as necessary
Not a lot else as have family coming this afternoon so that will take up most of my day!
Happy Mother's Day everybody.

Bought Mother's Day cards from Corner Shop instead of supermarket and paid 99p each (They would have been more in the Supermarket).
-
Did a Kelkoo Click whilst I was on Quidco website, it's only 2p but it's better in my pocket than theirs.
-
Put some copper in my purse into my pint pot.
-
Spent £1.77 less on MIL's mother's day present than I expected to.
-
Was sorely tempted to buy a paper in the corner shop but forced myself not to (saving 70p)

Hello everyone
For my Mothers Day present my OH and 2 teenage sons are making the Sunday Roast Dinner. They have never attempted such a challenge (I do it everyweek).
We are having Roast Chicken with roast Pots, veg and Yorkshire puds.
This is what we would usually be having anyway so cost for present =£0.
Slightly worried though as I had to point out that the giblet bag needed removing as they were about to put it in the oven and OH thought that it would only take 20mins to cook - I had to tell him that it was 20 min per 500g + extra 20mins.
I am trying really hard not to intervene but I really dont want to be ill either! But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
