NTL cable upstairs

Options
Hi

How can I get NTL cable upstairs in my bedroom without buying a second box.

Also, I have a roof aerial and the cable comes down outside the front of the house. The local kids are enjoying swinging off it so i need to take drastic action!! any ideas of how to get this changed.

BTW, i would only need the roof aerial for the upstairs as we've got the cable downstairs.

Cheers

you can buy to do this. Check ebay. You need a co-ax cable between box and tv upstairs. The device allows you to change chanels from upstairs.

This may only work with Sky boxes.

You could buy a wireless video sender but the cheaper ones will not relay the remote control signals to the NTL receiver. Maplin sell one that will but at a price of £120, could buy the cheaper £40 ones but would have to go downstairs every time you wanted to change channel.

Save yourself the trouble and get NTL to install a 2nd box upstairs for free then cancel it after a month, you will have to pay 1 month set-top box rental though (£15.99??).
