It is an inheritance. I was specifically told to use it to my advantage and not to fritter it away which is exactly what I plan to do. The fact that the relative is deceased is not relevant. So i am not really telling a lie
you said, "that a relative was willing to help and that the money would only be available under these circumstances."
sounds like a lie to me, it's not the case that hte money is only available under these circumstances.
Don't forget - you do owe this money....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I don't think anyone on here forgets for one iota that they owe the money. What about the £6500 + that the CC / bank / loan companies owe me in charges?? If we all played fair then many of us wouldn't be in the position that we are in now.
My mother gave me money after she died so I used it to get the best deal I could at the time..... mind you that was for a 42" tv....0 -

Why not claim it back?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

The legal papers are in NDG but they won't pay out now until the court case is finalised. Also my comment about being fair.... if they won't repay what many feel are unfair charges until the court hearings why do they continue to levy the charges ??0

CC charges aren't affected by the court case, you can continue with your claim on those. They are different from the overdraft charges (which are stayed pending the court case)....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
