Get a sweet elderly lady to return it for you with the receipt. I got my Mum-in-Law to return something for me to Asda and she had no problems (they refused me!)

They might only do an exchange though...
Don't blame me, it was like that when I got here!
  • The game my mum bought wasnt sealed or anything, not sure if that is normal, also when i looked at the disc its got a few scratches on and the manual has a creased corner, it looks like its been used.

Do they check the condition of the disc when returning it to customer services? Why did they refuse you?

The game should have been sealed. They don't check the condition of the disc, just the condition of the seal.

If the seal is broken or missing I doubt they will entertain a refund unless the gane was faulty.

If the product is as sold and with a receipt, they do offer a 28 day money back guarantee as I just found out.

I just did my Christmas shopping and discovered they overcharged me on one item. Promotional poster said 62p; I was charged 98p
Went to complain - was kept waiting ages. CS put out five calls for assistence (or should that be assistants :D) while she continued to sell goods from the Returns Desk so I was not best pleased anyway. Then fool as I am I let an assistant go to obtain the poster (or in this case dispose of it :()
So CS refused a refund on an incorrect price basis.
Asked her if she would price match Mr T's (64p) - she refused.
Then I asked about the refund policy and thats were I got her - asked her to refund the whole damn shopping trip - all £128 odd :D
Now Mr T has that money - crazy or what???

  • With dvd's, cd's or games they will only refund if the package is still sealed and you have the receipt. If it's no longer sealed they will only exchange it for another copy of the exact same.
When it comes to thought, some people stop at nothing.........
