Email Address for Capital One ?

Hi,
I applied for a Capital One Card (The one at 34.9%) and to my surprise I got turned down (My Credit Score must be worse than I thought !), anyway I don't want bundles of Junk Mail from them now, so I was wondering if anyone had a email address for them as I can't find one so I can email them and tell them I don't want any 'Marketing Information' from them, or will the fact I am not really a customer and got declined mean that I won't get junk mails from them anyway ?, I also think I ticked the 'Opt Out' when I applied online but I can't remember.

    Hi,
I was once turned down too. I never got any mail from them apart from a letter about 6 months later saying more or less "sorry we were unable to help you when you applied before, we now feel we have a product for you please apply again" I did and was accepted.
    Hope that helps some.
    Cheers.

Hi NOR, There's only the telephone Nos or address on the "contact us" part of their site, though I think I'd do the same as Viking seems to suggest, let them keep sending, then one day.....who knows...success?! Good luck Sue

Do what I do with junkmail. Remove anything from it that could identify you then post them back their own junk in the prepaid envelope provided.

  • I have an ideal solution to spam.

Because I run my own server, when I shop with anybody and get asked for an email address, I make one up on my server.

So if I was to shop at say Boots, and they wanted an Email addres I'd make one up like 'boots@xyz.co.uk'

Then when it is no longer required I would take it off my server any any emails that get posted to me at that address, bounce back.

I think anybody with a BT Email address can do the same.
