Minimum payment on 0% card.

What should the minimum payment be to my Halifax cc on a balance of £7626.55 with a 0% for 6 months deal? (normally 20.5%APR)

Does the "normal" 2% figure apply coz according to my on-line statement, the mp for next month is £20.32 :confused::confused:

The minimum payment is 2% of the balance at statement date.

Is it possible the BT has been posted just after the statement date, and whilst you already had a £1,000 balance on the card?

Pay 2% of the balance. You could also phone and ask them.

If they have stated that the minimum payment is £20.32, then I would just pay that. If they then come back and say that it should have been more, it is their fault and you should not be penalised for it.

As YorkshireBoy has stated, I suspect the statment balance was £1016, therefore 2% does indeed work out to £20.32
