Have you heard of Google, girleight@ ?
http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/contact_us/passengers_charter/how_to_contact_us.aspx
is the first link that comes up for "Virgin Trains Complaints".
I don't think you can complain too much about your bf being treated as a criminal, either. Most people who don't have train tickets ARE criminals. I'm sure the ticket inspectors have heard all sorts of jackanory like "My gf has got my ticket" and they have no way of telling who is lying and who isn't. It's an offence to travel without a ticket - pure and simple - whatever the reason for that.
How did your bf manage to have problems with this same train manager twice?0 -

I have heard of google but i thought people might have inside information. I also think that there was no need to be rude in this situation even if the result was the same (bf buying new ticket). If they can't tell who is lying they should treat people as though they are telling the truth in terms of manners. Surely it is better to be polite to someone who is a scammer than be rude to someone who has made a genuine mistake. Manners costs nothing at the end of the day. But then I suppose if being patronising makes you feel big that's free too!!0

All Virgin staff wear a name badge. the first name is all you need (they don't give out last names due to staff having been tracked down and threatened before now)
Unfortunately, there are too many scammers around now, and sadly most of them seem to be young people. I wouldn't be a train manager for any money, as some passengers seem to think it's a licence to be rude. Just remember, every scammer that gets away with it, adds a few extra pence onto your ticket price.0
