Contents and buildings insurance whilst on holiday

Hi all,
We are shortly off on holiday and a friend is going to stay in our house whilst we are away, to keep a watchful eye on our teenager who is 16 years old.
My question is quite simple.....Is our buildings and the contents insurance still valid whilst our friend stays in our house with our teenager?

yes you would still be covered, unless the friend runs rampage and destroys your house.
its prob worth giving your insurers a quick call to let them know the situation though.0 -

Friend won't....teenager might!!!!!!!! which is why friend is there.
