Any Megabus users ?
Hiya Everyone
I will be travelling home for Easter and was going to go with National Express as I have one of their coach cards. For myself and my son the return trip would cost £24.50 using my card.
I came onto this site to see if there was any discount codes available and came across a post which mentioned Megabus. I went onto the site and put in my details. They are saying that the return trip for myself and my son would only be £7.00
Has anyone here used Megabus ? Are they in partnership with a large company ? *edit* just read on the site that they are ''brought to you by stagecoach.group''
£7.00 return really does sound too good to be true doesn't it ?
Any views you have would be great

Megabus are great!
I've travelled from Cardiff to London for £1 each way before.
Never had a problem with them, other than bus broke down once on way back from London just onto M4, but a replacement was sent within half hour and we were kept fully informed by the driver.
Only thing is that the buses are older ones, so not that posh and look a bit shabby (but are clean and tidy!) - kinda like the ones used on school runs.

You get that sort of price by booking early - do it now or it will go up.
Seats may have a little less legroom than National Express but otherwise just fine.0 -
Thank you both for the replies.
I think I will go for it, after all for the price difference who is gonna grumble over how old the bus is lolol
