Heaven Can Wait - charity motorbike ride
Hi all
I am helping to organise a charity motorbike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats in a day - 35 bikers and support vehicles too.
It's in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Nottingham City Hospital and is the idea of Kevin Gent, an ambulance technician who was diagnosed with Thymic cancer in 2005.
We have just finished building our website and we would obviously love some of you guys to take a look and pass comment - good or bad, we're thick skinned - and we are, of course, after your money like everyone else is!
The Heaven Can Wait site is here - www.HeavenCanWait.uk.com
Our donation page on JustGiving is here - www.JustGiving.com/HeavenCanWait
We've decided to offer one of the items we receive from our sponsors as a prize to be awarded for site members - you can sign up for free and we will only use your email address to send you our newsletter, possibly once a month depending on our other commitments. No junk, no selling on etc etc.
I hope some of you can spare a few minutes to have a look, most of the site is now ready but there are one or two pages still being finalised (under construction) but they will be complete by Tuesday latest - since we are due to have details of the event and website published in MCN, the county's biggest selling motorcycle newspaper.
Happy fund raising everyone!

It looks good as everything is in place but the justgiving page I feel could be better organised by reducing the size of the picture as the page looks a bit clutteret. However it is really good.0

Much appreciated.
I think you're probably right about the size of that logo, and I guess that's the reason the text on the right looks a little odd.
I shall try and fix it!
Thank you for taking a look.0 -
looking good
good luck on your journeyThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o
A winner listens, a loser just waits until it is their turn to talk:)0 -
I have also noticed that in the site the headings can be missed sometimes as they are too far down. .I would like to this that it is a good website and it's good to see people who are listening and trying to make improvments.0
