Wsl: Asda Soda Stream Gas Refills @ £2.99

Whilst searching for a refill for my soda stream I found Asda where selling them at £3.99 instead of the usual £11.98. I asked why and they said due to problems they are discontinuing them.
One asda was going to give me £1 back for my empty which would have made it £2.99 but I didnt have it with me so went to another Asda and was told they are not taking them back. So £3.99 in one store and £2.99 in anohter.

Also they had a few syrups for 98p Strawberry, cranberry etc. instead of £2.48

Has anyone seen a cheap adaptor around that allows you to used this type 0f CO2 cylinder on a beer keg/barrel (homebrew type)?

At those prices, it would be great to use!

In Aldi (Sunderland Hylton Park) yesterday they were selling fizzy drinks makers (not soda stream) for £19.99 which are compatible with soda stream refils as they were supplied with one.
