Hi,
I'm going on my first trip abroad in August
I want to get some Euros but is there a minimum amount you have to get at any one time? I would like to get them bit by bit as and when I have the money as I don't have it all in one go! I don't want to go to the Post Office and look a fool!
Thanks for any advice
BTW my local Tesco now has a currency exchange booth! First one I've seen in a supermarket

If you walk in to a BdeC - like the Post Office, etc, then you can probably buy 5€ at a time if you really want. If they've any 5€ notes in stock that is. Anywhere that does it over the counter is likely to be the same - it's if they have to order it in or post it to you that they might not want the bother.0

Try Marks and Spencer, not too bad and small amounts no problem. I sometimes use this when going to Prague, get a small amount for bus tickets just in case ATM isn't working, but it always has.
