Could anyone suggest the best account for saving £250 per month? I'm 35, would prefer access to the money in case of emergencies and would be ok with the interest being paid annually.
Thanks

Take a look at Nationwide regular saver - 6.5% gross.
£250 p/m max payment.
Less interest on the whole balance in months your net balance does not increase by a certain amount. They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0 -
Have you got a cash ISA already. If not there are plenty of instant access ones about. Icesave is one of the best. You need £1k to set it up, so save for 4 months, then I think they allow subsequent top ups of £250.0

FD are paying 8% p.a for a monthly investment of £250 in the Regular Savers Account."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
