    It is 2 bed.

Noone has mentioned a HIP to us, would they have done if it had one? (we have had 2nd veiwing and they know we are interested)

The Energy Performance Certificate should be attached to the details, looks like a colour chart, listed A-G.
    That's a good idea.
1.Just go to upmystreet and put in your area. Then click on "read your neighbourhood profile".

    2. At the bottom of the next page click on "search for a property in (the area you requested)".

    3. On the next page click "find" and it will then give the date the properties were listed.

I just looked up a property in our street that I know went on in October and then the price was reduced. upmystreet is showing the original date the house went on, but with the new price (no mention of the old price).

Upmystreet will only show the information with the current, if they have changed agents the original agents information is not listed.

There is nothing like this with the details, so I assume there is no HIP. It is 2 bed so I suspect it has been on since before 14th Dec. Not sure if this is a long time or not!

Am off to look at upmystreet now.

Some people seem to stay with the same agents for ages. I saw quite a few in the areas I looked up in the SE, that have been on the market for nearly a year:eek:
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
Read the sticky on the House Buying, Renting & Selling board.

Almost every house we've enquired about, the EA has told us how long it's been on for with them when we asked (and it matched up with what we already knew or found out from a neighbour etc). The only exception was one agent who told us it was a new instruction and when we got there the vendor explained it had been on for several months and that the agent was his personal friend. Basically, the EA was highlighting the property as new on the market for a second time to drum up interest for his friend.

Of course, some have already been on with other agents prior to that so it's not always a guide but one vendor was quite up front about the time he was on and the time he was on with another agent too.
After posting about receiving an email to my MSE username/email from 'Money Expert' (note the use of ' '), I am now unable to post on MSE. Such is life.
