How to Identify Hotwire Hotels

Do you ever have to pay single supplementon these sites?
Not as far as I know.
The T&C's stateHotwire rates do not include special fees charged by hotels upon check-out (e.g., energy charges, convention fees, resort fees, parking fees). Customers will be required to pay these fees directly to the hotels at check-out time
and this usually means Resort fees.
Having never booked for a single adult I could not comment.
However you could test the water by doing a dummy booking for 1 guest and then do another for two guests and see if there's a difference.0 -

Occasionally the hotel will have a resort fee or something similar. This sometimes happens with high end hotels and such.
I always use hotspyer.com to identify hotwire hotels and they've never steered me wrong. The one time I did end up with a resort fee, hotspyer told me about it before I booked so it's really helpful in that respect too.0 -

Mmmmm:rolleyes:
First post to MSE (Welcome-I think) and then possibly a shameless plug to your own web-site?
Lack of data (fair enough it's only been up since Oct 2008) means it's not that good.
Also if your hotel you want Iding is not on the list then it's no help at all.0 -
I realise this threads been inactive for a while however was wondering if anyone knew what this one was...or had any other suggestions in the Notting Hill area?
Notting Hill - Bayswater area hotel 3.5 star -28th of april one night
Complimentary Breakfast
Restaurant(s)
High-speed Internet Access
Spa Services
Total price: $131.93
I tried better bidding but I found the site too hard to navigate around!
Many thanks0 -
That's not been Identified yet
Have you input the dates etc in the package part of Hotwire to see if anything similar comes up (as suggested by the guide?)0 -
Yes I tried, however as the information on the results is so limited it's getting a little tedious to keep going back and forth on the browser...There seems to be other good options that are already revealed in that link so I may just go for one of those.
Many thanks blindman0
