Barclaycard Platimum Application

Last Friday I applied for a Barclaycard Platinum card with a view to making a balance transfer to my 0% - 12 months MBNA Platinum card which has just expired. The thing is its been a week now and I've heard nothing back? I said online at the time they were dealing with my application and I could expect to hear from them soon. Any idea how long Barclaycard normally take? I'm wishing I started this process a week or so earlier.

I applied for mine on a saturday and if arrived the following friday.

You should have been emaied a reference fr your application - you can call customer services and find out the status of your application

also - dont forget to use saynoto0870 when you call them - lots of freephone numbrs for barcaycard saving you a little extra whilst your at it!!

Thank you, I've just been on their website and in FAQ it says allow 7-14 days for the decision on a normal Barclaycard and another 7 -14 days for the card. Fingers crossed its not too far away!
