Thanks.. I didn't fully understand the single fare explanation myself when I read it.
Will be arriving at Watford jct ~9.00pm .. Will there be someone there checking tickets to get off the platform? If so then I can alway opt to goto Euston then catch a train back for £3 :-( - a bit of a pain.
I am pretty sure that WJ has automatic barriers which will reject your ticket, thus you will need a member of staff to check the ticket and open the barrier.
Suggest you check the full open single fare for the journey you will have made, before you make any rash decision as that is what you will be liable to pay!0
