Thanks Passion8, I didn't know about them going into receivership, what a shame, I love that shop, love books. I'll have to pop along to see what bargains are to be had, and if I see the cards, I will get a bagful and send them.

Before I found this thread ;) I was in The Works at least twice a week, so I'll pop in this week, but even though I've been in recently, never knew about any receivership thing either

On the site with the children, I noticed that some of them are teenagers.
It says you can send them gifts. I'm sure that some of us have some spare make up items from Boots glitches or from GWP's that we will never use and don't know who to give it to, I know I have. Wouldn't it be nice to send a bit of make up or some nice smellies to some of these teenagers?

We must have loads of items we pick up thinking we'll make a set of the range somehow - I know I do, so I've got a fair few bits and bobs since Christmas. I'll check that site out later, but great idea Dollardog. If not make-up, then maybe make-up bags etc.

This quote's going to look like I'm a bit skwiffy - must learn how to multiquote :)

Totally see your point passion and as you can see from different posts - each to their own. I, personally, like the pink range. Some like blue, some both.. But for this blue promo i'm quite happy to let let my mum buy them and me hoard the points :p (as that is TOO good to pass up on)...whereas if it was the pink on promo for example, i'd be much more respondant.
For what its worth, my mum rates the foot cream. :D

I think I should give it a 'trial run' sk - thanks :) And I'm not sure how old your Mum is lol, but I know I prefer foot creams too :o :rotfl:

Besides, pink looks better in hampers ;)

  • Passion - The heel cream is fab, the 'jam session' and 'clean of england' shower gels both smell nice but the detox shower gel and the feel the knead soap are a bit off putting.
I, personally, love the pink stuff too, but my sister raves about the blueberry body lotion but you can't get that for £5 with 400 pts

I think they are the lg brown Weekend bags that were around for Mothers Day at £20 each, been reduced to £10 in some stores. I'll see if I can find a pic

If anyone buys this, I'd suggest they check out the foaming bath soak before leavng the store ;) I've had 2 that have leaked - from different sets! :)

'Quote' first post you want to use. 'Copy' all text you wish to use in your reply. Go back out to the next post you want to quote, press 'quote' again, then in that box that appears, paste your previously copied quote text. You should then have both quotes in there form 2 different posts. HTH, looks bloody confusing! lol. :D

I think I'll try it later *Bright-Idea* :) I can't remember what I bought now, and too tired to run upstairs ;), but think it was shower stuff. It was orange and hardly any blue, if any, on the packaging.

Just checked online and couldn't spot it, but spotted this:

Is it new? I like the look of that.

I have bought two of the 'blue' Clean of England body wash 500ml- delicious scent and leave my skin so soft! I suffer from really dry skin on my body, but this left my skin feeling soft. It's an orange scent, with pro-vitamin B5- can't recommend it highy enough, and at £5 for 500ml + 400pts I think it's fab value.

Fancy trying Feet Dreams (from pink S&G range) for puffy ankles and hot feet. Has anyone tried it and is it any good? I might buy some with the points I'm amassing from the blue range!

Have tried the Foot Mask Marvel from the blue range and it's lovely, doesn't smell of much but really does the job. Lovely lovely points too!

Picked up a mag and nothing else - shock horror - in Calcott today! OK I lie, I bought some model me hair creme - just love the smell of that stuff with haircare voucher at £3.49.

Hatboxes not on offer but some of the Palmolive shower creme reduced to 74p - what is the deal with that.

Do you think they made an order to Palmolive by mistake and they are trying to practically give it away now??

I'm tempted with the sanctuary bag too. Haven't seen it reduced anywhere though.

No mags left in Camberley yesterday.
I have 4 extra s&G vouchers from ACM if anyone would like them.
    Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!
