I was told that I was allowed "one magazine per day" by the young SA - not even one per transaction!

What about the ones that arrive in the online deliveries, like my two today?

    Hiya btw :D

See I am sooo tempted to go in in the hope I may spot the S&G set purely for the butter alone.

S&G sets still £7.50 in stores, i fully agree, the butter is stunning :p

On the subject on points - does anyone else have a real issue with spending them or is it just me? :rotfl: I'm up to £198 on my AC card now and I just can't bare to part with them :o

Haha this made me smile :rotfl: I have just over £200 on my AC now and am in the exact same boat as you, i am hoarding them! lol :D They're like my virtual babies!!!

Another option is to donate any unwanted goodies gotten as freebies or for points. I'm not sure where you would do that here; in the States, shelters for abused women and homeless shelters were good places to give beauty products as those people could really use a little pick-me-up! Other places to give would be the Salvation Army thrift shop. Anyone know of a good place to donate excess Boots items to here?

I use items to make baskets for prizes for the school to use at the fates in raffles etc - anyone wishing to post any to me I would be most grateful as would the school.

    mineral foundation5.99,mineral blusher3.99 and lipglaze

I thought you had to buy one item less than £3.79 (price of lip glaze) for 341 to work.
Till automatically takes off the cheapest item (in your case lip glaze)
Then you hand over voucher for free lip glaze but the till won't accept it as you have already got that free.

    If you buy 1 @ £2.99
    1 @£5.99
    1 @£3.79 Lipglaze

Then the till takes £2.99 off as part of 342 promotion
then you hand over Lipglaze voucher and till takes off £3.79
leaving you to pay £5.99 for all 3 items.............hopefully!

    Hope this is right!

Have to say i'm totally impressed with this thread. Never had an AC until last week (no boots where I used to live) but after my first shop I have £6.92 already :T ! Can see me having at least £100 by xmas but a quick question for you all ......... what do you spend your points on? Do you use them for pressies for friends or just splash out and go for the real expensive stuff to totally pamper yourselves? Am already having dilemmas about what to spend the points on later in the year

I used to collect points until I had enough for perfume, then I discovered online perfume prices..........I got a digital camera for my daughter's birthday, and then started insane hoarding.

I don't have a Clinique counter in my Boots, so my plan is to use the points this year on occasional Clinique treats.

Managed to swop my faulty eye lash curlers today. Was very pleased as I love them. I would definately recommend them for £4.99.

Was very brave and picked up S&G bag without buying another S&G product and it went through no problem. My DS did shout out "why are you getting another one of those!!!!" Kids eh!!! Wasn't able to find any magazines has anybody else had this problem? No where round here seems to have any! Scopiokitten - where did you get all your's from??

Plenty of new mags in Woodfields Bury babe, they have Accessorize hatboxes by the dozen there @ £4.50 too! Oh and S&G bags, and John frieda, i have a steadily growing collection of both now! lol.

I got a Ted Baker £9 bag today from there too, they really are lovely! I swapped a blue S&G item for it as tbh i'm not a huge fan of the blue, only like the pink range... so in the end i got to keep my 400 S&G glitch points and got the bag instead :D:D:D much better money well spent as it's like getting points towards the TB bag! chuffed!
