Just butting in...My DD had her first trial run at pre-school today. She was a bit clingy but can't wait to go back properly after Easter.

Back on to Boots though.......guess where I've been, yep I went to Broughton and your directions were spot on, thanks. bad news though is that I only got one MF GWP and I did end up having to buy 3 MF items :eek:! I did plan on buying one MF item and I had a PC voucher for £2 off MF items but the SA said that you have to buy 3 items and I had to do the whole "oops the other 2 must've fallen out of my trolley" thing lol. Oh well, had it of gone through I'd have got you one too, sorry

I did manage to use a PC voucher for free Trevor Sorbie conditioner WYB the shampoo and then used a £2 haircare voucher so got the full size shampoo and conditioner for £2.49 (would normally cost £8.98 for the 2).

Also got the S&G soap and got 400 points (200 mag & 200 ACM). Used a PC voucher for 250 points on photo frames and then found one on the ACM for 200 points so combined these and got 2 frames as they're also BOGOF so should have been £8 each but paid £8 and got 450 points back. And finally I got the Boots Expert Toothpaste using a PC half price voucher (only for the toothpaste though) which made it £1.49 and used a mag voucher for 100 points which had to be added manually!

Also used 150 points WYS £20 from the ACM.

I think that's it, phew LOL.

The small S&G set with the light righteous butter, the mother pucker lipgloss, bodyspray and shimmer stick were £6. something in the towncentre store but £15.00 at the retail park (I paid £10 in Basingstoke last week and thought it was excellent value - so £6 something is a bargain the righteous butter is £7 when bought on its own). They also had the double pack of the body butters for £10 a real bargain with the coupons for 400 extra points! I can't understand why the offers aren't the same in all stores.........these items weren't reduced they were just on some kind of 1/3 off promotion.

Lots of reduced stuff in the retail park, sanctuary foot stuff, loads of
different shower gels, suntan lotions, hair colour and the list goes on.

Anyway I hope that info is useful to anyone in the area

When were you there?
I had the same problem today as well after lurking around so I could use one of the young assistants. Pts reckon Mse is ruining all the glitches by letting so many know about it. I wonder whether they found out what we were all doing from here. Did manage to do the no17 3 for 1 though. There was quite a lot of clearance stuff wish I had some of the palmolive coupons you all got from boots.com as theres loads of that in clearance.
Well back to my local they are refurbishing a small Boots in Chester so got 2 of the lomi lomi sets the £12.50 ones for £3 each minus the £3 coupon from the gwp =free.

I'm probably being a bit thick here but what does the Pts bit mean above???

I was there at about 5.30pm today. They did have a good clearance shelf but nothing that caught my eye. I saw the palmolive stuff (the stuff in the blue bottle?) and I have got a few coupons from .com but I don't think they can be used with the stuff that was there. I think you can only use them on that particular shower gel (unless you spotted that too).

I too hung around for a young SA and even tried to distract her with the kids, LOL (I am a terrible Mummy :eek: for using my babies for Boots bargains). They did do a good job of distracting the lady behind me in the queue though because my baby boy (who was sitting) in the trolley kept pulling off his sock and giving it to her, LOL. I was going to try the pharmacy but there were a few pepole waiting there.

Didn't go to Boots yesterday but did today. Lots of the clearance stuff which on Monday was 25p-60p (shower gels, self tan wipes, naked facial scrub etc) was now stuck with a huge sticker saying £1 - I spoke to another customer and she reckoned they wouldn't scan them but put them through as misc items @ £1 each, so didn't bother with them.

Got oodles of em on Monday anyway so not losing out :rotfl:

The MF counter was haunted by the SA who kept on for giving me a makeover (only had 20 mins lunch left so no time! didn't think I looked that bad!! ) so couldn't spy the black MF GWP but they had pink rectangle GWP for purchases of £15. Plus all their mascaras etc were 1/3 off so £6.66 - but got enough mascara for a lifetime

Got my JF hair serum with the haircare till spit, plus more 3 4 1 17 for daughter's birthday pressies (and her friends...!)

No more S&G ACM points :mad: but mabe a good thing as I've bags of un- unpacked goodies I have to allocate to people's birthdays :rotfl:

They still have oodles of S & G bags priced at £2.50 but going through for 0.00 (but only when you purchase S & G - which I didn't, so couldn't get

I was refering to PTS the paid to shop site. Wasn't the palmolive stuff the cashmere showergel? They had quite a few 250ml bottles reduced. On Pts they reckon Martin mentioned glitches and some particular coupons on his show and this seems to have affected their acceptance and availability. Is this show the pay to watch one on ch5 I can't remember this on it? Oh well it looks like we'll have to hope the weekend staff haven't had the talk about MF. Chester haven't got any signs about the MF but have the last gwp at 0.00 in the till if you want to take your chances .

I haven't been to Boots for ages, but after spending this evening sorting through the stuff I have got (and putting in to boxes the stuff that I won't use that I can put towards my Hamper supplies) I don't think I need to go ever again.

Am off to quickly find somewhere to hide this stuff before OH returns from Rugby, he knows I have a lot but he doesn't know there is this much! ha ha.

Thanks for clearing that up. it would make sense actually as if you look at how many times the thread has been viewed we must have thousands of lurkers.

The Palmolive stuff at Broughton did say Cashmere on it but it wasn't the same stuff the vouchers came with (that was this http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1084235&classificationid=1026980). Maybe the coupons would have worked but I thought they were to be used with the Shower Creme, they're in the car at the minute (which Dh has taken to work on nights) so I can't check them. I did notice that they had the cashmere Shower Creme at Cheshire Oaks though for £1 on clearance but I didn't bother with it because I've got 15 bottles of the stuff already from .com.
