ScorpioKitten: I didnt spend much at all, just them, a H&B mag, a free john freida mini serum thingy, and some palmers cocoa butter with some free moisturiser on it. So in all for them only thing i paid for was cocoa butter @ about £3...
Nobody mans the SS tills there though so wasnt apprehensive in any way, i even got the L'oreal GWP and the Olay one too, till said no, weighing scale thing didnt mind ;)

Do you mean you just put them in the carrier bag and it didn't say anything??

Lol, me neither! But apparently (and luckily!) they do..!
I only saw them myself today, they are on the top floor on the back left near the normal tills (where the food and drink are)

let me know if you see it and if you dare try it:D don't know if I would dare try it either:D Boots in the market place had quite a few S&G steamy shower sets in on Sunday wonder if they will reduce them further? Might get another even at £7 if any left as tried the righteous butter at week end and thought it was fab:D didn't see any sign of JF serum on shelves, couldn't even see the SEL. Will have to go to Arnison centre to use tillspits. Still on the lookout for reduced S&G:rotfl:

    I got a MF GWP
in metro centre yesterday without buying any MF...

The problem with self-scan tills is that if the till beeps at any gwp or voucher - the whole thing gets stuck until a supevisor comes over and checks all the vouchers & purchases - and overrides. More obvious than hiding stuff in a basket!!

I agree, not a good choice if you have any money off or extra points, vouchers. I had problems using self scan with £5 No7 and highlighter vouchers and tried 250 points but SA had to authorise every voucher and wouldn't add on 250points aswell as £5 No7 - then she queried GWP as only 'spent' £4.??, let me have it after consulting No7 SA - but just this once, lol!

So self scan ok if no vouchers!! I usually end up talking to ones in Tesco if I use them (try to avoid!):rotfl: .
