I've been wanting to try picking up a GWP and nothing else and see if it would go through the till for free, but since i'm new to Bootsing, i've been chicken ! I think i'll let one of you more experienced Bootser's have a go first

No, even I wouldn't have the nerve to try that ....well yet
I did some shopping - things I wanted anyway, just not £15 worth, and nothing from MF:o Just included the gwp - went thru free, then it is down to the sa whether they 'know' their stuff and whether they are concentrating - so late Saturday afternoon would probably be a good time to try it

I haven't opened it yet as is a gift, but label says it contains:-
Eyeshadow,
foundation (15ml),
Silk gloss tube (Lipstick?)
hairbrush ( must be a small one),
Lola Rose key ring,
Nailfinity(10ml),
Pantene shampoo (30ml)and conditioner (30ml)

There were dozens at the back of the MF counter, along with other gwp - a pink small glossy box thing ( sorry not more descriptive) and I think there was some type of bag - not handbag, but more light-weight luggage/holdall I think - these were still 'flat' in plastic bags.

Last night when I 'failed' it went thru free - but helpfull sa said it was only free when you bought some MF stuff. I honestly hadn't seen any sign to say this, although I obviosly knew there must be some "buying" involved
Anyway, around other side of display there was a small typed note saying free wys £15 - but which of the 3 diff types of gift, I don't know which it was referring to
I presume one was the current gwp, and others were from previous campaigns.

Us girls have our uses;)

I got 2 lip liners posted by another poster with lipglaze paid £1 for all 3 items. I can get bar codes of liners if you are interested. I also did lipglaze, a glitter eyeshadow and a bronze eye liner that cost £3.49.

That sounds good, im particularly interested in anything like lip gloss or lipstick, i love all that kind of stuff for me obviously but i could use others as pressies!!!!!!

i don't know if this has already been mentioned, but in the stevenage store yesterday they had signs up next to the Urban Retreat stand saying that if you spent £15 on UR, you get an UR lip kit (which is usually £15 anyway) that contains 4 items, for free - it did say that this started on the 11th (or could be 13th - could be wrong) but it looked like a good offer. would post link to free gift but boots.com isn't working for me at the mo.

Following on from my posts tonight, could I explain, and ask for your continued help.

My niece is 18 later this year, I have already bought her some posh "grown up" jewellry, but want to make up a huge wicker basket full of goodies.
My aim is to make it as interesting, varied and cheap as possible.
Hence the latest MF free GWP - I have also sent for the Roc freebie - so fingers crossed that arrives ok.
Also sent for the Star necklace from Freemans - but that is not looking hopeful.
I also have the black beaded evening bag which was MF free gwp from last year - so as you can see I am doing quite well.

If anyone spots anything else, I know you will post on here anyway, so thanks in advance.
I do so love to shop - especially when it is free ( or virtually) and I REALLY LOVE to give it away as well.
I have drawers full of stuff, just waiting for the right opportunity and person to give it to.
One of these days I may even start using it myself
