    Morning or Afternoon (which ever time zone you're in :) ) Just a quick hello from sunny Florida. It's been bloody freezing the past couple of days, but before that it was dead hot and sunny. Bit warmer today though and it'll be back in the 80s tomorrow yay. I've been such a bad moneysaver, kids are spending a fortune and I found myself in the Orlando outlet centre yesterday oops.

    Anyway, I'm missing you all and all of the gossip, don't forget to pm me news :) Lots of love and see you in a week or so xxxx

    Hi Everyone - Happy Leap year Day!

    Feb 29th is apparently the only reason DH proposed to me on Xmas Eve the year before! He claims I said that if he hadn't proposed by 29th Feb 2004, then I was going to propose to him! And being as he's a bit of a chauvanist (sp?) this couldn't possibly be done! Therefore, he was "forced" (his word) into proposing to me! What a lovely start to our life together! 2 1/2 years into marriage and it's bliss!!

    Anyway, on DFW matters, I'm not too happy at the moment. Got a letter from M&S yesterday saying they were putting my APR up from 19.9 to 22.9% from 1st April. Apparently market forces come into play....didn't interest rates go down earlier this year?! A very good way of making money I think! Has anyone had success in challenging an APR rise on their credit card? I would be interested to hear and what you said! Thanks!

    Alas not an option, as I'm paying out minimum each month and my credit rating is a bit shot at the moment, so applying for cards would be a no no - I suppose they don't need to know that, but I can't really move the money the moment.

    You don't need to do it - I called all my CC's and threatened that and I had no chance of being able to move when I was paying mine off. Worth it for a phone call - worst they can say is no.
