John Lewis Card website - unstable?

Am I the only person who seems to get semi-regular problems accessing their online credit card site?

At the moment it is flaky as you like, sometimes I can log in, but get "page not founds" when trying to pay, sometimes I can't even get the login page.

I phoned them last night and they reckon it's all fine although it doesn't work for me on multiple computers... is it just me?

I had the same problem when I held the partnership card. When you clicked 'Log in' and expected the new window to open, it just stayed a blank window. This happened MANY times, and also error messages saying the site wasn't available. It wasn't the most reliable of sites.

The site is having problems again :mad:

I've spoken to the Call Centre 3 times this last week, each time they're in the dark, apparently being told that the problems only started on Thursday.

They've got no idea what it is, or when it might be fixed. Their IT team sound like a right shower (apparently they're HSBC?)

Just thought I'd resurrect my own thread

These problems have persisted, and been especially poor this week. I made a formal complaint and was called back by a pleasant but innefftctual JLP complaints handler.

Their IT team had done the usual thing by asking lots of technically irelevant questions in an effort o make it appear to be user-error (I'm in IT myself so I know the form!).

I eventually got passed to HSBC who run JLP's financial services, both guys I spoke to at HSBC didn't even know they ran the JLP credit card system, so how they could ever hope to diagnose and solve the problem I'll never know!
