Freebies is a great forum but it is getting to be a bit unweildy now. I suppose it is a good sign that there are a lot of freebies around but maybe splitting it into a few sub sections might help people navigate here a bit more easily. I notice there are more and more downloads so how about a 'free download section' for starters?

Nice idea
Downloads
Books/CDs/Brochures
Health&Beauty
Pets
etc.
Easy to find what you're looking for and probably less duplicate threads0 -
is there a thread for latest posts? this happens on another forum I go to and it makes things much easier as it saves wading through oodles of stuff I've already read!0

Unfortunately recently there have been a lot of posts that have been posted before on the forum.
I dont know how easy it would be but maybe it would help posters if you started a thread and the subject has been used before it comes up to show you becuase I dont think some people are searching before posting.

I don't know. Its seems mostly fine to me. The main problem, apart from the spam, is the number of non freebie posts, either posted my mistake or else to chat about freebies.
I think a lot of people just post things in the freebie forum thinking if they post it in the correct place nobody will read it. Kind of like this thread
You may have a point on downloads/websites that people list. Posting a website as a 'freebie' has allways seemed a bit odd to me but many people seem to like it so maybie a 'virtual' freebie board...0 -
i like what they do on yahoo answers - you type in your question, and it suggests similar ones in case it has already been asked.
but, i think it would be a really good idea. maybe a "freebie when you spend xx/buy yy" would be a good idea too? i don't know...Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0 -
