be wary of sempron laptops.. used one when i wrote some commercial software for a company.. it has visual studio 2005 / oracle and windows xp pro on it... and it ran like a dog it was very irritating when using it. The laptop would lockup and freeze all the time for 10-20 seconds at a time. If you want a basic laptop then go for it but if you need more than that pay the extra for a more powerful one. I'm using a vostro 1500 now with a T7300 chip in it and it runs excellent

Can i point out this laptop for the same price from the Dixons group. Its the same price with a better processor, larger hard drive and better graphics.
