Sky tv cold call - dubious sales pitch

A Sky tv cold-caller stung me by pitching an up-grade deal by quoting what I now realise was a weekly equivilent price. That is, he said that for just £2.50 extra for three months I could have the whole Sky package then take-it-or-leave-it.
Yep. It was £2.50 a week, not per month! He got me. I am not bright - I admit that, but why quote a weekly price increase for a pay-monthly package and not make it chrystal clear that you are doing so, unless you are trying to mislead someone.
The letter of confirmation was garbled and unclear. When I finally twigged that I had been had I contacted Sky. Staff were unhelpful and I had to give a months notice of cancellation.
Sky and I have parted company as a result of this. However, the freeview option works with your old card (don't return it or they charge you 20 quid for the same deal!) and I am hard-pressed to notice any difference. I am glad I'm out

The whole thing regarding the £2.50 per week is to make u think it is not much much it is really £10 a month extra but if they tell people it's only £2.50 some people won't simply twigg0
