Hi all
Just a quick question if you will, I have a couple of CC's (Capital One and Virgin) both with 10grand limits on them, also have a Barclay card which they finally this week put the limit upto £4800 after a few knockbacks.
I am nearly done paying off whats left on my Virgin Card and only a few hundred left on my Barclay card.
My question is, if I don't use them will my limits drop over time or do I have to use them now and again?
Thank you

Use them occasionally to keep up your credit rating. Just don't let them build up. HTHStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j

Hi - not sure if this is any use, but I paid my barclaycard off two weeks ago, had a letter today to say they have dropped my credit limit from £1500 to £260!!
Am wondering if this is because i paid it off?0 -
They did the same to me, from 1000 to 260, when I asked why, they told me this was because of the credit squeeze.
I would point out that I have never missed a payment or been over limit!!.:mad:0
